This pulls data through the same connection the live app already uses. If that connection is blocked (egress cap, paused project), this tool will be blocked too — in that case, use SQL Editor Mode below, which never touches that layer.
Download Backup
Pulls every table from the currently connected project and saves it as one JSON file to your device.
Restore Backup
Loads a previously downloaded backup file into the currently connected project. Existing rows are never overwritten — new rows are added and matching IDs are skipped.
Auto-Backup Reminder
Shows a reminder on this device if it's been more than 7 days since your last backup. Doesn't run automatically in the background — you still tap the button — but you won't forget.
Verify a Backup File
Checks row counts and structure without restoring anything — useful right after downloading, to confirm the file isn't truncated or corrupted.
When to use this
Supabase blocks the app's REST connection when a project hits its egress cap or is paused — but the SQL Editor in the Supabase dashboard talks to Postgres directly and is not affected by that block.
If "Download Full Backup" above fails with a network or 401 error, this is the reliable fallback:
